Assignment Overview

• Bangor, Maine 04401
• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• Day shifts; 40 guaranteed hours weekly, subject to the facility cancellation provision of up to three shifts per thirteen-week assignment.
• 40 guaranteed regular hours weekly, subject to final assignment terms. The facility may cancel up to three shifts per thirteen-week assignment.
• Target start: October 28, 2026, pending facility confirmation.

Your Work

Turn your cardiac imaging skills into information that helps guide patient care. This hands-on assignment combines technical precision with patient interaction as you help the clinical team understand the next step in diagnosis and treatment.

Perform diagnostic echocardiography, including stress, limited and transesophageal studies, assess image quality, document care and prepare preliminary reports for cardiologist review.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience; final facility eligibility review required.
• Recognized echocardiography credential such as RDCS, RCS or the Canadian cardiac sonography registration; final credential acceptance confirmed before submission.
• BLS upon hire or within the facility-approved thirty-day period.
• Ability to use echocardiography equipment, Doppler techniques and PACS documentation; peripheral IV placement only with required facility authorization.
