Assignment Overview

• Salmon, Idaho 83467
• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• 5 p.m.-5:30 a.m.; weekend and holiday rotations.
• 36 expected paid hours per week, with up to 36 hours of facility call-off during the 13-week assignment; weekly estimates reflect paid hours worked.
• Target start: November 23, 2026, pending facility confirmation.

Your Work

Bring versatility to an assignment that combines maternity care with adult medical and surgical nursing. Adapt to changing patient needs, support families and coordinate with colleagues as each shift unfolds. This role offers variety and the chance to use a broad set of bedside skills while making each patient feel heard and supported.

Provide labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care. Float to adult medical/surgical care when the obstetric unit has no active patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active Idaho RN or approved compact multistate license.
• At least two years of nursing experience, including one year of obstetric nursing.
• BLS, NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring upon hire.
• PALS upon hire or within the facility-approved one-year period.
• Permanent residence outside the facility 120-mile local-candidate radius.
