Assignment Overview

• Juneau, Alaska 99801
• 10-week W-2 contract; 1 opening
• 40 hours per week, with a variable schedule between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday–Saturday.
• 40 guaranteed hours per week, subject to final assignment terms.
• Start is subject to fingerprint clearance and facility confirmation, at least 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received. Housing and transportation are not provided by the facility.

Your Work

Keep a busy urgent-care clinic moving while helping patients of every age feel prepared and supported. Work closely with providers to room patients, collect vital signs and specimens, perform point-of-care testing and assist with procedures. Your organization and clinical judgment help connect each visit from the first assessment through orders, documentation and follow-up. This role also offers the opportunity to guide other clinical assistants and support a coordinated clinic team.

What You Bring

• Current national medical-assistant certification and current BLS.
• At least three years of healthcare experience, including one year of urgent-care experience within the last two years.
• Confidence with patient documentation, specimen collection and clinical tasks within your certification and competencies.
