Assignment Overview

• Mauston, Wisconsin 53948
• 6-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• Monday–Thursday, 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Required call includes one weekend and seven additional nights monthly.
• 36 guaranteed regular hours per week.
• Target start: November 2, 2026, pending facility confirmation.
• Call is required. Standby and callback compensation is additional to the advertised pay.

Your Work

Bring your perioperative experience into a hands-on role alongside the surgical team. Apply careful preparation, technical skill and clinical judgment as you support the surgeon and advocate for safe, coordinated patient care. This assignment offers the satisfaction of contributing directly to each procedure while staying focused on the person behind it.

Assist the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, closure, sterile preparation and other first-assisting tasks.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Completed accredited RNFA or recognized first-assisting education program.
• BLS within the facility-approved six-month period.
• Operating-room/surgical experience preferred.
