Assignment Overview

• Hilo, Hawaii 96720
• 13-week W-2 contract; 2 openings
• Variable 8-, 10- or 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Call zero to three times monthly, including night and weekend/holiday coverage. No guaranteed shift preference.
• Paid weekly hours and the final schedule must be confirmed before an offer. No weekly earnings or guaranteed hours are promised.
• Target start: November 09, 2026, pending facility confirmation.
• Call is required. Call compensation is additional to the advertised pay.

Your Work

Help patients move from a procedure into the next stage of recovery. Bring close observation, timely assessment and reassuring communication to the bedside as needs change. This assignment combines focused recovery nursing with the teamwork and patient connections that make perioperative care meaningful.

Provide preoperative care and phase I/II recovery nursing, monitor stability and assess postoperative complications.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant nursing experience; hospital ER/ICU experience may substitute for PACU experience.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Maintain the applicable Hawaii professional license by assignment start.
• Complete required employee-health clearance and arrive Thursday before the Monday start for the Friday appointment.
