Assignment Overview

• 13-week W-2 contract; 3 openings
• Twelve-hour night shifts,7 p.m.–7 a.m.; Charge and preceptor duties may be assigned.
• Pay estimate uses a 40-hour planning week; weekly hours have not yet been confirmed.
• Target start: October 28, 2026, subject to facility confirmation.

Your Work

Combine clinical judgment with a calm, compassionate approach when patients need support through a mental-health crisis. This role brings together assessment, communication and coordinated care, with opportunities to make a difference in a vulnerable moment.

Provide emergency psychiatric nursing, develop interdisciplinary care plans, monitor outcomes and support crisis and detoxification care for patients aged five and older.

What You Bring

• Maine RN license or qualifying compact authorization and ADN or higher.
• Complete facility license/background and prior-employment eligibility review; previous employees are not accepted.
• Permanent residence outside the facility’s fifty-mile radius.
• At least three years of RN experience, including at least one year of mental-health nursing.
• Current BLS and CPI training before start; strong crisis-management and communication skills.
