Assignment Overview

• Hilo, Hawaii 96720
• 15-week W-2 travel contract; 2 openings
• Three 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 p.m.–7 a.m.; holidays. No guaranteed hours.
• 36 expected paid hours weekly after initial orientation; hours are not guaranteed. Orientation schedule and actual paid hours confirmed before an offer.
• Target start: November 2, 2026, pending facility confirmation.

Your Work

Put your respiratory-care skills to work helping patients through changing clinical needs. Bring assessment, treatment and communication together while supporting coordinated care and helping patients move toward better breathing and recovery.

Provide airway management, invasive/non-invasive ventilator support and respiratory care for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience and prior travel-assignment experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and Hawaii respiratory therapy license.
• RRT and NRP preferred; final RRT requirement confirmed before submission.
• Maintain the applicable Hawaii professional license by assignment start.
• Complete required employee-health clearance and arrive Thursday before the Monday start for the Friday appointment.

Pay and Benefits

Taxable W-2 hourly pay: $20.00–$22.92.
