Assignment Overview

• Salida, Colorado 81201
• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• Four to five eight-hour shifts; required call averages 1–2 days weekly and every fourth weekend.
• 32 guaranteed regular hours per week.
• Target start: January 4, 2027, pending facility confirmation.
• Call is required. Standby and callback compensation is additional to the advertised pay.

Your Work

Bring your technical skills into the shared focus of the surgical team. Help prepare for each case, anticipate what comes next and support safe, coordinated procedures. If you enjoy precise, hands-on work and seeing how your contribution fits into the bigger picture of patient care, this assignment puts those strengths to work.

Provide surgical scrub and first-assist support, including orthopedic cases.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience, including orthopedics.
• OR surgical technologist certification and current CPR/BLS.
• Maintain applicable Colorado surgical technologist/assistant registration.

Pay and Benefits

Taxable W-2 hourly pay: $25.47–$28.51.
