Assignment Overview

• Herrin, Illinois 62948
• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• Night shifts, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m., every other weekend. May float to clinically appropriate medical/surgical units.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Target start: October 28, 2026, pending facility confirmation.

Your Work

Bring your nursing skills to the variety of adult medical and surgical care. Stay alert to changing needs, coordinate with the nursing team and help patients and families understand each step toward recovery.

Provide nursing care for orthopedic and surgical patients. Assess, monitor, document and coordinate care within scope, licensure and demonstrated competency.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS for medical/surgical units.
• Additional ACLS if assigned to a unit requiring it.
